RIASEC-Based Assessment
Answer 36 quick questions about your interests and working style. CareerGuide matches your results against real careers so you know where to look next.
The assessment is built on the RIASEC model, a career-interest framework developed by psychologist John Holland. It asks 6 questions from each of the six personality categories, 36 in total, to identify which types describe you best. Your dominant traits are then matched against a database of careers so you get suggestions that actually fit your personality, not just generic advice. It takes about 10 minutes, and you can save an in-progress attempt and resume it later.
RIASEC groups personality and work preferences into six types. Here is what each one means.
Hands-on, practical, and enjoys working with tools, machines or the outdoors.
Analytical and curious, drawn to research, data and solving complex problems.
Creative and expressive, thrives in unstructured imaginative environments.
People-oriented, enjoys teaching, helping and working closely with others.
Persuasive and goal-driven, comfortable leading, selling or taking initiative.
Organized and detail-focused, prefers structure, data and clear procedures.
